THE PROJECT

The renovation project of this manor house in Franschhoek, South Africa, was developed by a local architect and the client required a consultation to help designing the plan layout of the kitchen.

The client was looking to maintain the overall open plan for the kitchen but wanted to introduce a counter that could subvide it into 2 different areas to serve the adjacent rooms: a larger cooking and preparation zone closer to the entrance foyer that leads to an outdoor dining area and a second zone opened to the indoor dining room working as a coffee station.
