INTERIOR STYLING

DESCRIPTION

This interior decoration service is for those who are looking to enhance the aesthetics of their current or new home with furniture and decorative accessories, without having to conduct any construction works. It doesn’t matter if you just want to improve what you already have or if you would like to start from scratch. Whether you are planning on styling your entire home or only a room, this service is personalised to match your space, preferences and ideas.

HOW IT WORKS

THE FIRST MEETING

After the Styling Service Agreement is signed, we will have an initial meeting online or on site to better understand the space, your ideas, needs, priorities, budget and requirements.

THE SURVEY

A survey of the existing space will be carried out by taking measurements and photos. If there is any furniture, fixtures or accessories that you would like to keep, this will also be surveyed.

THE SPACE PLANNING

After the meeting, the floor plan with the proposed furniture layout solution will be designed. The furniture can be existing, new or a mix of both, depending on the space and your requirements.

THE STYLING CONCEPT

Together with the floor plan, a Moodboard will be created with images of reference, colour palette and suggestions of new furniture, fixtures and decor for each room, when applicable.

THE PRESENTATION

The full styling concept, including floor plan and moodboard, is presented online or in person. We will discuss the proposal and decide if you would like to move forward or make some revisions.

THE ESTIMATE LIST OF ITEMS

Once everything is defined and agreed by you, it’s time to create an estimate list with description of new items, details, finishes, quantities, prices and online links to buy.

FINALISE THE PROJECT YOURSELF

With all this information, you can choose to finalise the project yourself, taking your own pace to declutter and to purchase the new items, making this a more personal experience.

OR LET THE STUDIO DO IT FOR YOU

If you wish, you can complete the package with the additional procurement service where Luso Studio will source and purchase the items for you, so you don’t have to worry about any detail.

Styling your home is an intensely personal project. You might need inspiration and advice on how to change your space or you might know exactly what you would like to do but need help visualizing it and bringing your ideas to life. The goal is to give you a structured approach to making your space feel like your home. Once the concept is ready, you can decide how to finalise the project, either by purchasing all the items yourself or by completing the package with the additional procurement service.

  • 1 - ‘Styling Concept Presentation’ containing:

    • 2D floor plan with furniture layout.

    • Moodboard with reference images, proposed colour scheme, recommendations of furniture and decor.

    • 3D model views (optional).

    2 - After approval of concept:

    • Estimate list of items with online links.

    • 2-4 weeks for initial ‘Styling Concept Presentation’.

    • 1-2 weeks for each revision.

    • Time for optional procurement service will depend on the items and their respective lead times.

    Please note that specific timelines depend on the size and extent of the project, as larger projects might take longer.

    • 3D MODEL VIEWS

      If you wish to have a better understanding of the final result, I can model the space and furniture in 3D with indicative materials and colours.

    • PROCUREMENT WITHOUT STORAGE
      Sourcing and purchase of furniture, fixtures, accessories and decor. All items will be delivered directly to the client, according to their lead times.

    • PROCUREMENT WITH STORAGE

      Sourcing and purchase of furniture, fixtures, accessories and decor. All items will be consolidated in a storage unit before final delivery on site in a single load.

    • ON-SITE STYLING
      Styling of furniture, accessories and decor to match design intent.

    • This service doesn’t include any fit out, renovation or refurbishment.

    • Declutter and removal of existing items can be arranged but will be charged at cost.

    • Installation and hanging of new items can be arranged but will be charged at cost.
