BAR DESIGN CONSULTATION
THE CONSULTATION
The original design of the bar was developed by another company and the client needed advice on the final look of the bar before completion of construction works.
During our consultation, the client first guided me through the project showing photos and videos of the site under construction and sharing the 3D model views that were initially prepared by another company during the design development stage. As the construction phase was reaching its end, the client required professional advice on how the final design could be refined. Together, we explored some pinterest boards to understand what the main concerns were, the budget and the type of details that the client had in mind.
Based on the client’s need, I drew a sketch perspective view using one of the original images from the previous designer as a starting point so the client could easily visualize how the addition of simple details could completely transform the bar and achieve the desired final look. These changes included an antique mirror, logo and metal shelves on the back wall of the counter, to feature light fittings, mosaic floor tiles and hanging items.
